Sleep Station is an indie rock project from New Jersey founded in 1999 by frontman David Debiak, recognized for its concept-driven albums, ambitious production, and evolving lineup. Touring across the United States throughout the 2000s, Sleep Station has been featured across a wide range of television shows and films, gaining an audience via college radio and the early days of social media. He later formed the alternative rock band New London Fire in 2005, as well as the synth-pop duo Electric Century with Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance. The duo met under local indie label Eyeball Records, the original home of both aforementioned artist's formative albums.
Across these projects, David Debiak has built a reputation as a versatile songwriter working across indie rock, folk, and electronic pop.
Sleep Station returns from a performing hiatus for a special record release show celebrating their new album This Side of Heaven, an atmospheric and ethereal evolution from 2023's The Earth is in Us. The May 29th acoustic performance at Boonton Coffee Company will feature songs from the new album and David Debiak's previously released discography.
Opening the show is David Vincent.
