Songwriter Series: Mourning Coffee + Darrell Arden

Mourning Coffee - A singer-songwriter from New Jersey, formerly signed to Brink Records and Manic Kat Records, and former front man of touring band The Foxfires. Mourning Coffee, their self-titled debut, was released in August 20th 2022. Their sound blends elements of folk, indie rock and grunge, all painted with a melancholy brush. ‘Sad coffee shop music’ is a fitting title. The band followed up their debut with a double new single titled "Gemini" on 11.11.22, a single titled “Pisces” on 12.21.22. Into 2023, Mourning Coffee dropped a new single titled “Scorpio” for Valentines Day along with a music video, all to help promote their latest EP Above & Below out which arrived this past March.

Darrell Arden - Indie folk singer-songwriter Darrell Arden is as soft-spoken as they come, yet don't let that fool you. Though his songs give the impression of his delicate demeanor, they strike forward with a strong melody underlining each story he has to tell. Come hear songs from his debut EP Of Course released at the tail end of 2020, while also hearing new songs he's carved away since.
