Hickory is a folk rock band that brings together a diverse range of musical influences to create a unique and engaging sound. Hickory has quickly gained a reputation for their captivating live performances and their ability to connect with audiences through their music. Drawing inspiration from classic folk and rock artists as well as contemporary influences, Hickory’s sound is both nostalgic and fresh, appealing to a wide range of listeners. With their thoughtful lyrics, tight musicianship, and charismatic stage presence, Hickory is making their mark on the folk rock scene.

Formed in the early 2000s in Jersey City, Miss Ohio has built a sound around tightly crafted songs, layered guitars, and a commitment to live performance. Over the years, they’ve played countless shows across New York City’s bars and clubs, shaping a style that’s direct, dynamic, and emotionally resonant. Their debut album, Another Wasted Summer (2005), captured the raw energy of those early years—riff-driven, immediate, and full of momentum. The follow-up, Low (2008), explored moodier territory, while a series of EPs and singles continued to develop the band’s voice. In 2025, Miss Ohio marks the 20th anniversary of Another Wasted Summer by rerecording key tracks and introducing new material that reflects where they’ve been and where they’re going.
